Garbage Bin Rental Edmonton

BinWise Disposal rents garbage bins across Edmonton starting at $274 for a 12-yard bin, with one tonne of weight included and same-day delivery usually available. Our walk-in bins take almost any household junk — furniture, renovation debris, cleanout clutter. Booking is 100% online with upfront, all-in pricing and no hidden fees.

The Easy Way to Get Rid of Garbage in Edmonton

Whether you’re clearing out a garage, purging a basement, hauling off old furniture, or cleaning up after a reno, we make it simple: we drop a bin in your driveway, you fill it on your own schedule, and we haul it away. No trailer, no dump runs, no lifting junk over a truck wall. Some people call it a garbage bin, a dumpster, or a disposal bin — same service, and we’ve got the right size for the job.

Our garbage bins are commonly rented for:

Garage, basement and attic cleanouts

Decluttering and spring cleaning

Moving-out and downsizing purges

Estate and tenant cleanouts

Furniture and general household junk removal

Renovation and demolition debris

A turquoise dumpster with "BinWise Disposal" branding and QR codes is being unloaded from a white truck on a dirt road, surrounded by bare trees.

Walk-in Bins Make Loading Easy

Our bins are walk-in — the door swings open so you can wheel or carry heavy items straight in at ground level, instead of heaving everything up over the side. It’s a small thing that makes a cleanout day a lot less painful, and it’s something our customers mention often.

Garbage Bin Sizes & Pricing

Every rental includes one tonne (1T) of weight and a driveway-friendly, walk-in design.
Prices are all-in — the only extras are delivery (shown upfront by your address at checkout)
and any options you choose.

16 Yard $314 $324 $354 7-day rate + $10/day
20 Yard $344 $354 $384 7-day rate + $10/day
Weight
1 tonne is included; extra weight is billed only for what you actually use, at $89/tonne (measured to 0.01T). Bins hold up to about 4 tonnes.

Rental length
24 hours to 30 days — keep it as long as the project runs.

Add-ons
Mattresses are $25 each; boxsprings are free. No other surprise fees.

Driveway protection pads — $20
Optional at checkout. We’re one of the only companies in the area to offer them.

Bin lids — $40 (Any Size)
An optional lid keeps your bin covered between loads. It’s cheap protection against a few common job-site headaches: rain and snow soaking in and adding weight to your final bill, strangers tossing their own garbage (or a bulky mattress) into your bin on your dime, scavengers picking through or emptying it, and debris blowing out in the wind. If your bin will sit for a few days — especially over a weekend or in wet weather — a lid pays for itself.

Need more than one?
Our bins stack (a 12 fits in a 16, a 16 in a 20), so for bigger cleanouts we can deliver several bins at once and place them where you need them.

What can go in a garbage bin?

Just about anything from a house or yard cleanout: furniture, mattresses (add-on), appliances, renovation debris, flooring, general junk, and household clutter. The only things we can’t take are paint and paint cans, any liquids, gas or propane, and hazardous materials (e.g. asbestos).

Two heavy materials have their own dedicated bins (they’re too heavy for a standard bin): clean concrete/masonry ($375 flat, up to 4 yards) and clean dirt/sod ($400 flat, up to 4 yards). Not sure about something? Give us a quick call before you load.

One clear price, no surprises on cleanout day

The last thing you want mid-cleanout is a surprise charge. So we keep it simple: book online, punch in your home address, and see your exact all-in price — delivery included — before you pay. Edmonton, St. Albert, Sherwood Park and Spruce Grove include free delivery; everywhere else your delivery cost shows clearly from your address, so there’s no guessing and nothing sprung on you at the end. What you see is what you pay.

“I rented the ‘happy medium’ for 3 days to do a purge on household items. I was extremely satisfied — the bin arrived on time, the customer service was excellent, and the price was very decent after researching similar-sized bins. It was plenty big enough for all my junk, and the walk-in accessibility made loading very easy.”

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to rent a garbage bin in Edmonton?

Our garbage buns start at $274 for a 12-yard (24 hours, one tonne of weight included). A 16-yard is $314 and a 20-yard is $344 at the 24-hour rate, with 3-day, 7-day and up-to-30-day options. Delivery is shown upfront by your address, so the price you see is all-in.

What can I put in the bin?

Almost anything from a household or yard cleanout — furniture, mattresses (a $25 add-on each; boxsprings are free), appliances, renovation debris and general junk. We can’t take paint or paint cans, liquids, gas or propane, or hazardous materials like asbestos. Clean concrete and clean dirt/sod go in their own dedicated bins.

What size bin do I need?

For a single-room or garage cleanout, a 12-yard is usually plenty. Whole-house cleanouts, big purges or renovations lean toward a 16 or 20-yard. Because our bins stack, we can also deliver more than one for a large job. Not sure? Call us and we’ll help you size it.

How long can I keep the bin?

Anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days. Swaps and longer terms are easy — just book the period you need, and you can extend at $10/day past the 7-day rate.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

We aim for same-day and hit it most of the time. It’s not guaranteed if you book late in the day or on our busiest days (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays fill up fastest), so booking a day ahead is safest for a specific date.

Should I add a lid?

It’s worth it if your bin will sit for more than a day, especially over a weekend or in wet weather. For $40, a lid keeps rain and snow out (so you’re not paying for water weight), stops strangers from dumping their own junk in your bin, and keeps scavengers and wind out of the load. If you’re filling and hauling same-day, you probably don’t need one.
